CAUTION: Test a small area on the inside of your wrist for temperature sensitivity.
• Do not use on irritated, cut or broken skin.
• Do not use inside nose, ears, on nipples, eyelashes, warts and moles, or near internal genital area.
• Do not use if client has varicose veins, diabetes, phlebitis, chapped, sore or sunburned skin, recent scar tissue, eczema or any skin disorder.
• Do not use if client is using Retin-A, Accutane, Glycolic Acid or Alpha Hydroxy treatment.
• Client should not use soaps or astringents for 2 hours after application.
• Advise client to avoid the sun, tanning and hot water for 8 hours before and after any hair removal treatment.
PREP & HEAT:
1. Pour wax beads into a wax can and place in warmer.
2. Heat on high for 30–45 minutes until wax reaches a thick, caramel-like consistency, then reduce to medium.
3. Test wax temperature on the inside of your wrist before application.
READY TO WAX:
1. Cleanse area and dry thoroughly.
2. Apply a small amount of pre-epilation oil if desired.
3. Apply a thick layer of wax in the direction of hair growth.
4. Allow wax to cool until soft and pliable (approximately 30 seconds).
5. Hold skin taut and remove wax quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth.
6. Apply firm pressure to soothe the skin.
AFTER WAX CARE:
1. Remove any residue with post-wax remover.
2. Apply a soothing post-wax treatment to calm skin.
3. Avoid heat, friction, and sun exposure immediately after waxing. "
